Dicapta Foundation is very pleased to announce that our app GoCC4All has been nominated to the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Prizes 2021. This nomination falls into the category Access to information and knowledge and helps to highlight the importance of making information accessible for users with deafblindness.

The WSIS Prizes identifies and showcases success stories that use the power of information and communication technologies (ICTs) to advance sustainable development. GoCC4All was selected among 1270 applicants worldwide, and it was also one of 13 projects selected out of 41 applications from the United States.

Our GoCC4All app brings emergency alerts and live TV captions in an accessible way to users who are deafblind. It allows them to customize the app to their accessibility needs. It also makes it easy for its users to send their location information to an emergency contact in case of distress.
